Icknield Fields
Application UTT/22/2997/OP
Catesby Estates, ultimately owned by Wellcome Genome, have applied for outline planning permission for a development of 350 houses on Icknield Fields (locally known as Stumps Cross). The land is boundaried by Newmarket Road all the way over to Walden Road, from the Community Centre to the roundabout. This will be heard at the January 2023 Uttlesford Planning Meeting. The PC have already made strong objections, but residents are still able to comment.

Opposite the new Chesterford Meadows development on London Road, this is another development of approximately 126 houses. Application Ref no: UTT/20/2724/OP. This has been approved by UDC.
